Today in our Year 7 AG1 Math class, we spent the lesson reflecting on the topic of linear equations, which we have been studying recently. The goal of the session was to think about what we’ve learned so far and to deepen our understanding by discussing the topic with our classmates and our teacher.

During the lesson, we had the opportunity to share our thoughts, ask questions, and explain concepts to each other. This made the learning experience more interactive and meaningful. By hearing how others understood the topic, I was able to see different ways of thinking about linear equations and how to approach solving them. Sometimes, when something wasn’t clear, someone could explain it in a way that made it easier to understand.

I found it really helpful to talk through problems and solutions with my classmates because it made me more confident in my own understanding. Our teacher also guided us during these discussions, helping us correct any misunderstandings and encouraging us to think critically about the methods we use.
