When I first heard about Heart Global, I didn’t know exactly what to expect. All I knew was that it had something to do with music, art, and bringing people together. But when I actually took part in a Heart Global workshop, I realized it was much more than just a program, it was an experience that connected people through creativity and emotion.
The first thing that struck me was the atmosphere. The staff and leaders were so full of energy, and they encouraged everyone to be open and expressive. We sang, danced, acted, and shared stories. At first, I was nervous because I’m not usually confident performing in front of others. But everyone was so supportive that I slowly started to enjoy it. It didn’t matter if you were “good” or “bad”. What mattered was that you tried and shared something from your heart.
Through the activities, I learned that art is not only about talent, it’s about connection. When we sang together, it felt like all our voices became one. When we created performances as a group, we learned to listen, cooperate, and trust one another. It was inspiring to see how people from different backgrounds could come together and express the same emotions through art.
