On July 9, we welcomed visiting students to Salesian for a day of connection, curiosity, and shared experience. It was a simple day—just morning assembly, regular classes, and lunch—but somehow, it turned into something really meaningful.
From the moment they arrived, there was a quiet excitement. Students met their hosts, joined in our morning routines, and stepped into everyday school life together. The day wasn’t packed with big events or flashy activities, but that turned out to be the beauty of it. Real conversations happened. Shared laughs during breaks. Quiet moments of helping each other in class.
It didn’t take long for students to bond—over favorite music, food, sports, or just the fun of figuring things out together. Despite language differences, they found ways to connect, and by the end of the day, goodbyes felt surprisingly hard. Many were already talking about how to stay in touch.
All in all, it was a reminder that connection doesn’t need much—just open minds, kind hearts, and a little time. We’re grateful for the new friendships formed and for everyone who helped make the day feel special.
Until next time—ありがとうございました and thank you.
