学校生活

高校1年生の英語(論理表現)の授業では、「英語を論理的に学び読み解くこと」と「学んだ英語を活用してプレゼンを行うこと」の2つを柱に取り組んでいます。
前者ではオリジナル教材を使い、英文法を体系的に学びながら、英文解釈を中心としたリーディングスキルの向上を目指しています。
後者では、PBL型の授業で「スラング」をテーマに学習中です。
生徒たちは言葉の意味だけでなく、その歴史や文化的背景についても調べ、言葉の持つ「生きた力」を探究しながら発表を行いました。
今後は、より実社会との接点を意識したテーマに広げ、思考力と発信力のさらなる育成を図っていきます。

In our first-year high school English course, Logical Expression, students focus on two key goals: learning to understand English logically and using what they’ve learned to give presentations. For the first goal, we use original teaching materials to help students build a strong foundation in grammar while developing their reading and interpretation skills. For the second, students take part in a project-based learning unit on slang. They research not only the meanings of slang expressions, but also their historical and cultural backgrounds. Through this, they discover how language reflects life and society, and they share their findings through presentations. Looking ahead, we plan to explore more real-world themes to further develop students’ thinking and communication skills.
