学校生活

カトリック教会では、11月を「死者の月」とし、亡くなった方々を思い起こし、祈りを捧げる月としています。
本校でも、この伝統に倣い、毎年11月に追悼の祈りを行っています。今年は11月19日(火)に、クラスごとに祈りの時を持ちました。
祈りのスライドを見ながら、放送で流れる祈りと聖歌に心を合わせ、亡くなられた方々の永遠の安息を願いました。

また、追悼の祈りに向けて全校生徒が折り鶴を作成し、一人ひとりが祈りの心を深めました。
さらに、今年は福祉委員の企画で、「Memento mori（死を忘れなかれ）」をテーマに、「死」と「生」について考える取り組みも実施しました。先生方に「死」や「生」に関する印象深い映画、絵画、音楽についてインタビューを行い、それをポスターで紹介しました。

「死」を考えることは、「どう生きるか」を見つめ直す機会でもあります。この11月を通じて、生徒たちは命の尊さを改めて感じ、与えられた毎日を大切に生きようと意識する時間を持つことができました。

In the Catholic Church, November is the “Month of the Dead,” a month to remember and pray for those who have passed away.
Our school follows this tradition and holds a memorial service every November.
This year, on Tuesday, November 19, each class held a time of prayer.
While watching the prayer slides and tuning our hearts to the prayers and chants played over the airwaves, we prayed for the eternal rest of those who have passed away.

In addition, all students made origami cranes for the memorial prayer, deepening each person’s prayerful heart.
Furthermore, this year, the Welfare Committee members planned an initiative to think about “death” and “life” under the theme of “Memento mori” (Do not forget death).
The teachers were interviewed about memorable movies, paintings, and music related to “death” and “life,” which were then presented on posters.

The posters were then displayed. Thinking about death is also an opportunity to reconsider how to live.
Through this November, the students were able to have time to reaffirm the preciousness of life and to be aware of how to cherish each and every day that is given to them.
