In Year 8, students are currently refining their presentations and exhibitions centered on the theme “Tokyo and Nature.” These projects, which encompass mediums such as videos, dioramas, narratives, and posters, are categorized into two formats: presentations and exhibitions.

Last week, Class C students showcasing exhibitions focused on perfecting their concise, 30-second “elevator pitches” while incorporating interactive elements to foster a more engaging dialogue with their audience. This also gave them the opportunity to demonstrate their creativity and critical thinking skills. For example, one notable project uses models to explore the gradual loss of natural landscapes in the Ikebukuro area, while another examines how major corporations in Tokyo can contribute to the conservation of nature. Students still have time to further enhance their work using feedback from teachers and peers before presenting at the upcoming school festival.
