2022年7月10日（日）、アジア地域のサレジアン・シスターズと関わりのある青少年を対象としたオンライン集会が行われました。

「Youth encounter on care for our common home：共通の家（地球）を大切にする若者たちの出会い」というテーマのもと、15カ国（香港、マコオ、台湾、韓国、モンゴル、カンボジア、ミャンマー、タイ、フィリピン、インドネシア、東ティモール、ベトナム、ラオス、パプアニューギニア、日本）、約180人の青少年がオンライン上に集まりました。サレジアン国際学園からも5人の生徒たちが参加しました。

　2015年、教皇フランシスコが出された「ラウダート・シ」のメッセージをもとに、環境問題、人権問題について共に考えました。各国の取り組みをまとめたビデオが紹介され、それぞれの社会背景、生活背景のもと展開されている活動を知る事ができました。

　フィリピン出身のEricka Quilosさんから、環境問題の解決に向けての示唆をいただきました。「Youth, Environment, Laudato si, Advocacy」というキーワードを挙げながら、若者たちの新しいアイディアと国を超えた協力の大切さを話してくださいました。

　また、ブレイクアウトルームで少人数に分かれ、「これから私たちにできる取り組み、挑戦したい取り組み」について、意見交換が活発になされました。参加した生徒たちも大きな刺激を受けたようです。ここでの出逢いをきっかけに今後の活動につなげて欲しいと思います！

参加した生徒たちの感想です。

今回「アジア地域オンライン青少年の集い」に参加し、アジア各国のサレジアンの方々と意見や活動を共有する良い機会を持てました。それぞれが持つバックグラウンドにより、環境問題についての考えや取り組み方が違うと感じました。また、この集いに参加したことは自分自身が「ラウダート・シ 」について深く考える良いきっかけにもなりました。話し合いの中で出た環境問題の解決策をもとに、アジア地域のサレジアン生でこれから行動を起こしていけたらと思います。（H.T）

It was very fun and an exciting moment to see many other people from different countries. I learned many things from this online meeting and I also realized that every country is taking various actions to make the environment better. I felt that all countries are connected and united to make the world a better place with everyone. I think it was a very wonderful chance to meet and discuss about environment in this online meeting.（R.K）

I was amazed to see a lot of people who cared for the environment in the meeting. There were about 180 participants in total! It was a fun meeting because various unique people from all over the world joined it. I also thought the videos on our actions towards Laudato Si were very hopeful, because it showed us that even us youngsters can make a difference (however, I smirked when I saw and heard my own self in the videos). I was also surprised about Thailand, because I had lived there before and didn’t know they were also a part of Laudato Si. All in all, this experience was amazing. I can only imagine if we all meet in a real life and together as a gigantic group. Maybe we would do some activities that we weren’t able to do on zoom, like tree planting.（Y.I）
