This term, Year 9 AG students dove right in with a literature study of Lord of the Flies by William Golding.
This novel is twelve chapters long, telling the story of a number of British schoolboys crash landed, alone, with no adult survivors, on an uninhabited island.
Throughout this term, students have had the opportunity to develop their reading comprehension and stamina, as well as learning how to identify and analyze key topics and themes in the story.
We also have explored real-world psychological studies that relate to some of the ideas explored in the novel, allowing students to make connections between fiction and reality.
