It has been a busy week for students learning about all the tertiary education options from Australia. On May 23rd, several teachers and students attended the Australian Universities Fair in Akasaka, where 50 universities, colleges and schools held information booths about education opportunities in Australia.
On May 26th, we welcomed representatives from four universities based in Western Australia to Salesian International School for an on-campus University Fair. The Year 11 AG students who have started their WACE curriculum studies were able to hear about the various campuses, courses and student life at Edith Cowan University, Curtin University, Murdoch University and the University of Western Australia. Additionally, they learned about some scholarships available exclusively to international students completing the WACE curriculum. Year 10 AG students were also able to visit the booths and ask questions of the representatives.
We look forward to welcoming them back each year, as we help guide students through their international university options and where the WACE curriculum can take them.
