How would you survive in a dystopian world? What difficult choices would you have to make?
That’s what Year 8 AG3 English Language Arts students are exploring through their latest group project. Each group selected a dystopian setting, such as a cyber-surveillance city or a post-pandemic quarantine zone. From there, they began designing an original board game that explores the creative choices involved in successfully navigating their given scenario.While the games will use handmade dice, spinners, and cards, success relies on strategic player choices rather than pure luck. Students will have their board games completed and ready for classmates to play on Saturday!
