Students in the SG group are challenged with writing a research paper in English this year in iTime. As part of cross-curricular collaboration, the students are getting an introduction to research skills and research writing structure in their English class ahead of this opportunity. Students are encouraged to explore topics that are of interest to them, asking how and why questions that will allow them to learn more about their interests and approach solutions to problems they see in the world.

Students in the SG course start the program with varying levels of English ability, but they are given the opportunity to develop research skills and language skills at the same time. This will help them to exercise their minds while creating something that will help them in the future as they apply to universities and beyond.
